I'm currently a backend Rust (and sometimes Python) engineer at tplus.

In my spare time:

• blocktop, a minimalist TUI block explorer for Ethereum networks written in Rust
• mkcheckpoint, a small utility for producing checkpoints of static AMM data (announcement)
• mevcat, a lightweight tool for interacting with various MEV APIs, in the spirit of nc(1)
• awesome-reth, community-curated list of Reth-related resources (announcement)
• Jetkit, a collection of small signing and key management utilities for Ethereum
• Implemented byte-tracking for EVM memory semantics in Heimdall
• Miscellaneous quality-of-life improvements to various projects (e.g., Reth, amms-rs, Artemis, etc.)

  • Implemented a Rust SDK for the Hashflow market maker API
  • Code review and implementation of Python-language latency-insensitive trading bots
  • Analysed and documented competitor strategies on Mainnet as well as Arbitrum (some cross-chain)

• Core developer (and early employee) at the first perpetual swaps protocols to deploy natively to Arbitrum

  • Internal liason for all security audit firms we engaged (Sigma Prime, Runtime Verification, Secureum, and Spearbit)
  • Implementation of core protocol designs in Solidity
  • Designed and implemented an offchain order matching engine in Rust
  • Mentored multiple rounds of interns in Ethereum protocol research and education

• Completed undergraduate studies: a BCompSc(Cybersecurity) from UQ

  • Included a blockchain-specific course
    • Presented on the ILF symbex fuzzer (slides)
    • Final paper was a review of DEX security at the time (paper)
